How to Find a Space for Your Next Beauty Masterclass
A practical checklist for lash, brow, makeup, nail and braiding educators choosing a Philadelphia space for a masterclass.
Count stations, then add a demo area
Plan one table per student or per pair if you work on models. Leave room for your demo table at the front where everyone can see.
Check power before you book
Ring lights, lash lamps and nail dryers need outlets. Tour the room, note outlet locations and bring extension cords and power strips.
Be honest about what the room is
An event room is not a salon. If your class needs shampoo bowls or salon chairs, you'll need a salon. For lash, brow, makeup and most nail classes, tables and good lighting are what matter.
Plan your content moments
Students love class photos and certificates. A clean backdrop or welcome wall gives you shareable content. Print certificates with your academy's logo ahead of time.
Budget for the full day
Masterclasses often run five to seven hours. At Studio M a six-hour weekday class between 9 AM and 6 PM is $480, reserved with a $250 deposit applied to the total.
